Environmental Education Activities on World Water Day

In 2025, the Ukrainian Ecostation Network, together with the “Hlyboki Balyky”, “Cape Komariv on Bakota”, and “The Rock of Practical Botany” ecostations, implemented a series of environmental educational activities for World Water Day across various regions of Ukraine. Activities included the youth eco-game “Water Footprint”, the “Oberihai” eco-game, and the “Earth’s Climate” lesson for school students, a scientific picnic, and an excursion to a weather station.

Locations: Kyiv, Sumy, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi regions.

Implementation: March 20, 2025.

Funding: The events were organized as part of a marathon of activities on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Ukrainian Climate Network with the financial support of NGO “Ecodia” and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action within the International Climate Initiative (IKI) project.
